About Wolfgangsee
The Austrian Euro Masters regatta will take place will take place on Lake Wolfgangsee. The lake is around 12km long and 2.4km wide and is divided into two parts by a peninsula. The western part of the lake by St. Gilgen is also called the Abersee.
Wind conditions are favourable for the Laser sailor, with the "Brunnwind" which is known to provide a consistent 10 - 30 knot wind.
The host club, the Union Yacht Club, is located in St Gilgen on the south-western shore of the lake. The town is one of the oldest Austrian holiday resorts and therefore benefits from all the expected tourist facilities.

There is no possibility to place tents in the club area. The nearest camping area is situated 3km from the club. A limited number (reservation necessary) of camping-mobiles are allowed in the parking area of the club, at a fee of €10 for the duration of the event.
Transport
Wolfgangsee is located north of the Alps, 30km southeast of the city of Salzburg and is easy to reach via highway Vienna-Salzburg or from the north via highway Munich-Salzburg.
