Insurance
Health Insurance and Third Party Liability Insurance will be required as per the Notice of Race. Photocopies will be accepted but original documents are preferred and will be required in the event of an accident, so the organisers strongly suggest sailors bring the original documents along.
Accommodation
Details regarding local accommodation options may be found on the host club website. Caravans may be housed near the yacht club office area free of charge. However, a small fee may be payable for the provision of electricity.
About Hvar
Hvar provides a truly spectacular end to the Europa Cup regatta:
There will be an Opening Party and a free meal after racing. There will also be a fishing contest followed by a fish supper of the Catch.
The season will be closed in true Croatian style with a fun-packed spectacular New Year's Eve Party in the town square with live music.
The wind conditions vary between a south-easterly breeze of 10 to 20 knots and a westerly breeze of 10 to 15 knots. The air temperature in December is around 10 to 15 degrees celsius while the sea temperature settles around 12 to 14 degrees celsius.

The ferry from Split Harbour is 5 times daily, and the ferry from Ancona in Italy to Stad Grad on Hvar Island runs once a day. You will receive a 50% discount with Jadrolinija. Split Harbour is well connected with Ancona with 2-3 crossings daily. The 50% discount is also available on this route.
If driving to Split Harbour: from northern Italy - Rijeka - with A1 - Split, and from Austria - Maribor - Zagreb - A1 highway - Split.
