This will be the first year that Breitenbrunn will host a Europa Cup regatta.
About Breitenbrunn
Breitenbrunn is a small village in east Austria, famous for it's excellent wines. the village has many ancient and historic features including a tall watch tower that was built during the Turkish peiod. This is now a museum.
Lake Neusiedl
Lake Neusiedl is the second-largest steppe lake in central Europe and straddles the Hungarian-Austrian border. It runs approximately 36kms north-west, with a width of up to 12 kms, and a maximum depth of just 1.8m.
Other Information
There will be a dinner on Thurs, Fri and Sat evenings. Event t-shirts will be given to all competitors. The Club is also hoping to offer fruit and drinks on the water and a prize for each competitor but this is yet to be confirmed. There are separate showers and toilets at the Club and on the beach.
