ZW Scoring Program The Sail Regatta Scoring program ZW is a program developed by Leo Eggink from the Netherlands, for the administration and scoring of regattas. It is used by ILCA at European and World Championships. ZW supports English, Spanish, Italian, German and Dutch. Support for other languages is possible. The following scoring systems are supported:
- Bonus-Point System (formerly known as Olympic)
- Austrian scoring (starters)
- Austrian scoring (registrated for series)
- Low-Point System
- Team
The program is based on the regulations of ISAF, as described in the Racing Rules of Sailing. It can calculate with discards, the number of which is completely user defined. Results can be calculated with various handicap formulae. It can handle up to 60 races per series. There are no limits for the number of competitors, classes or fleets. It is extremely flexible in terms of updating results (for example after a Jury decision), variations in competitor listings and a host of other useful tools, and can prepare HTML pages with results for immediate publication onto the Internet. The program is available to download free of charge at: www.zw-scoring.nl
