Olympic Worldcup - Finals - Marseille FRA - Final results

A very light breeze filled in only very late in the afternoon in Marseille FRA yesterday. Just before the latest possible start time, the 470 Medal Races could sail their Medal Races.

No change on top of the 470 men with Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS clearly winning ahead of Jordi Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP and Hippolyte Machetti/Sidoine Dantes FRA. In the 470 women, Camille Lecointre/Aloise Retornaz FRA succeeded to control the one-point-leading Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre GBR right from the start and controlled the GBR women in a matchracing style till the end. Mas-Depares/Cantero ESP earned Bronze. With a 6th race rank, Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI advanced on rank 8.

The two Laser and the Finn Medal Races had to be cancelled due to lack of wind. Andy Maloney NZL finished first in the Finns. Nils Theuninck SUI followed on 8th. Im Lasers, the winners were Giovanni Cocolutto ITA in the Standards and Viktorija Andrulyte LTU in the Radials.
