Olympic Worldcup - Finals - Marseille FRA - Day 3

After the windy Wednesday, sun and a moderate seabreeze of 11-15kn prevailed yesterday in Marseille and the full program could be completed in all classes.
Sailing 3 races, the 470 compensated for the delay. The day ranks 1/2/1 brought the Olympic Champions Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS on top of the 470 men ahead of Xammar/Rodriguez ESP and Peponnet/Mion FRA. Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI had their best races (5/7) and moved up on rank 9.
In the 470 women, Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre GBR have taken the overall lead ahead of Lecointre/Retornaz FRA new on rank 2 with two bullets yesterday. Zegers/Berkhout NED are now on 3rd. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI are on the 8th place and will have to defend the Medal Race qualification in the remaining two days.
Mattia Camboni ITA remains on top of the RS:X men windsurfers. As best of the day, Piotr Myska POL advanced on rank 2. Daniele Benedetti ITA is new on rank 3.
In the RS:X women windsurfers, the World Champion Lilian De Geus NED has taken the lead 2 points ahead of Saskia Sills GBR. Flavia Tartaglini ITA is now on the 3rd place.
No leader change in the Lasers with Ryan Lo SGP on top of the Standards. Giovanni Cocolutto ITA is new on rank 2.
In the Lasers Radial, Viktoria Andrulyte LTU extended her lead to 9 points on the tied Elena Vorobeva CRO and Tatiana Droszdowskaja BLR.
The New Zealand duel on top of the Finns continues with Andy Maloney NZL one point ahead of Josh Junior NZL. Max Salminen SWE moved up on rank 3. Nick Theuninck SUI advnced on rank 5.
Vittorio Bisarro/Maelle Frascari ITA stay on top of the Nacra-17. John Gimson/Anna Burnet GBR and Billy Besson/Marie Riou FRA remain the first challengers.
With the day ranks 1/1/1/2 in the 49ers, Federico Alonso/Arturo Alonso ESP increased the advantage on Bildstein/Hussl AUT to 21 points. On rank 3 follow Fischer/Péquin FRA. Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI on rank 7 are on a good way to the Medal Race qualification today as their advantage on rank 11 is 21 points.
In the 49ersFX, Julie Bossard/Aude Comapn FRA are now 9 points in front of Melzacka/Loboda POL. Schöfegger/Boustani AUT follow on rank 3.
The French riders dominate in the Kiteboarders with Nicolas Parlier FRA 10 points ahead of Theo De Ramcourt FRA.
