The Race Committee of the Olympic Worldcup reduced yesterday's program in view of an upcoming thunderstorm. Only the 49ers and the matchracing women with courses close to the shore were on the water during the whole day. After the thunderstorm, the Lasers Standard and Radial sailed a regatta each. In decreasing winds, the favorites did finish on top with Nick Thompson GBR and Luke Ramsey CAN as leaders of their Laser Standard groups, followed by the duos Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA / Chris Dold CAN, and Diego Romero ITA / Rasmus Mygren SWE on the 2nd and 3rd place each.
