A sunny and warm day awaited the competitors the second regatta day, and, also unfortunately, a complete lack of wind. After a long wait mostly on water, as predicted, late afternoon came a SSW breeze of around 8-10 knots. Conditions were tricky and difficult, but two races could be complete for all fleets. The sun was already setting when the sailors came ashore. In almost all races we have got new winners. For the standards Otso Ahvonen FIN and Alessandro Marenga ITA, already in plain sunset, won a race today. As far as the radials are concerned Giovanni Coccoluto ITA and Michelle Broekhuizen NED got a bullet today, while the winners of the day in the 4.7 fleet were Sebastien Schneiter SUI and Gregorin Zeno ITA. In plain twilight sailors were offered a well deserved pasta party. Overall quite a tiring day. Results will come up later overnight on the event web-site.
