Very shifty winds and a number of blackflag recalls in the third fleet delayed the program yesterday. Only one race per fleet instead of the planned three could be sailed. Tonci Stipanovic CRO defended his lead in the overall rankings with a 2nd place. The new 2nd is now Clayton Johnson followed by Nick Thompson GBR on 3rd. The winners of yesterdays' race have been Pavlos Kontides CYP (new on rank 4), Ivan Taritas CRO and Michael Bullot NZL (50th with 1/ocs/1). The defending champion Tom Slingsby AUS was the most prominent of the blackflag victims. Today, the event continues with some more qualification races.
