Laser Radial - Youth World Championship 2015 - Kingston CAN - Day 5

The freshest breeze so far at these Radial Youth Worlds - 15 kn - prevailed yesterday in Kingston CAN, but during the day, the wind decreased. Nevertheless, all fleets completed three races each.
The situation in the Radial Boys is very close on the final day of the event with another two races on the program. Nicholas Conor AUS is still in front, but Gianmarco Planchestainer ITA has reduced the deficit on 3 points. A fight for the title between those two is ahead today ! Nic Baird USA - the son of the Ex-Alinghi-helmsman Ed Baird USA - is on the 3rd place 15 points behind the leader, but the 4th Paolo Giargia ITA is only one point back.
Maria Erdi HUN remains the clear leader in the Girls with 10 points lead on the 2nd Dolores Moreira URU, the only one who can theoretically challenge the Hungarian for the title. Clearly leading in the U17 rankings, Moreira has already a title in her pocket. The 3rd Magdalena Kwasna POL is 29 points behind. Francesca Bergamo ITA 5 points farther back can still challenge her for Bronze.
