A fresh 16 to 20 kn breeze allowed to sail the full program yesterday, and the situation is completely open in the Standards as well as the Radials before the last races today.
Philipp Buhl GER has taken the lead in the Lasers Standard after the two races of yesterday. Rutger Van Schaardenburg NED and the defending Champion Tonci Stipanovic CRO follow only one point behind on the ranks 2 and 3. With a 7 points' deficit on rank 4 is Nicholas Heiner NED 4. For the Dutch, not only the Euro Medals are of importance but even more the Olympia 2016 selection is at stake. A race within the race will therefore happen today to decide on the NED representation in Rio 2i016.
Alicia Cebrian ESP was again the best of the day in the Radial women and extended her lead on 11 points. Tuula Tenkanen FIN progressed on rank 2 thanks to a race win, but Tatiana Droszdowskaja BLR on 3rd is only 2 points behind. Anne-Marie Rindom DEN on 4th is 9 points behind a Medal.
In the Radial men, Marcin Rudawski POL remains on a track to the title. The only real opponent is Zan Luka Zelko SLO but he too is already 9 points behind. The 3rd Matthias Van de Loocke BEL is 27 points back.
