Laser Radial & Standard - European Championship 2010 - Tallinn EST - Final Day - Gold twice for Croatia

The Croatians struck twice at the Laser European Championships and Trophy in Tallinn that ended with two light-air races in each class. In the Laser Standard, Tonci Stipanovic CRO won the country’s first Laser European Championship, 10 points ahead of Olympic and World Champion Paul Goodison GBR. Third was Tom Slingsby AUS, but in the Europeans-only results, that place and the associated Bronze medal were awarded to Andreas Geritzer AUT.
In Laser Radial, Tina Mihelic, who lead the competition from Day 1 terminated in dominating fashion to defend last year’s title by finishing 19 points ahead of Charlotte Dobson GBR and Gintare Scheidt LIT, who came from behind with a first and a second on the last day to steal Bronze from Evi Van Acker BEL.
