Laser Radial - Men & Youth World Championship 2009 - Karatsu JPN - Final Day

ast Monday, the Laser Radial Men and Youth World Championships at Karatsu had their last day. Mostly sailing in a fresh 15 to 20 kn breeze and a big swell, the decision in the men's fleet was clear very early in favour of Marcin Rudawski POL who did not have to sail on the last day. Silver and Bronze went to Ben Kopelaar NED and Insub Kim KOR. Here the report.
In the Radial Youth fleet, Keerati Bualong THA could take the title off the long-time leader Aleksander Arian POL with a strong last day. Bronze went to Filip Kobielski POL. The decision in the Girls Youth fleet was also very tight. Mathilde de Kerangeat FRA had finally a three points lead over Ashley Stoddart AUS. Michelle Broekhuizen NED finished 3rd.
