The Olympic Champion Paul Goodison GBR had an impressive comeback on the occasion of his return to the international Laser Standard racing scene. At the end of the competition, his only real opponent Javier Hernandez ESP was yellow-flagged for the third time and had to abandon the Medal Race, falling even behind Andreas Geritzer AUT on the 3rd place.
In the Lasers Radial, Ausra Mileviciute LTU defended her lead, but with the Medal Race ranks 1 and 2, Charlotte Dobson GBR and Tatjana Drozsdowskaja BLR just made the podium relegating Fatima Reyes ESP to rank 4. With three athletes in the top ten, the Spanish ladies demonstrated their obvious progress during this year. The final report and the videos.
