Wednesday morning started off slow at the Laser European championships and Trophy in Tallinn EST. The sky was cloudy and the wind was just 3 knots and shifty, causing to postpone the starts. When the easterly filled in, the last two qualification races were sailed. In Laser Standard, Tom Slingsby AUS cemented his lead with a 7th and a 1st. Tonci Stipanovic CRO won twice today and moved up to 2nd overall followed by Andreas Geritzer AUT, Olympic Gold medalist Paul Goodison GBR and Nick Thompson GBR.
There were more Mihelic fireworks in the Laser Radial. The Croatian won both her races and now has an 18-point lead over Charlotte Dobson GBR and Evi Van Acker BEL. The official report and the video of the day.
