The second racing day started with the AP flag up, waiting for some breeze. At noon a nice 6-8 knots SW wind started to build up, and we all went afloat. Two good races were run for all three rigs. Unfortunately, the PRO pushed for a third race in the setting sun and dying wind. The standards barely managed to finish the 3rd race on a shortened course, but unfortunately only the 4.7 race was abandoned, the radials - although on a shortened course - had to cope with random spots of 1 knot. A really painful end to an otherwise great day. At the time of writing this report the Jury is still dealing with the protests related to this last radial race.
The leader board after the first day for the 4.7-s looks like: 1. Vadnai Benjamin, HUN; 2. Roeck Sarah, GER; and 3. Takacs, Levente , HUN. For the radials: 1. Babych Pavel, UKR; 2. Hunfalvy Peter, HUN; 3. Nikolaev Maxim, RUS. And for the standards: 1. Bakoczy Robert, HUN; 2. Berecz Zsombor, HUN; and 3. Van Laer Wannes, BEL.
