100 sailors (36 4.7, 39 radial and 25 standard)) from 12 countries started the regatta in perfect sailing conditions. With a SW breeze of 10-12 knots strenghtening up to 14 to 16 knots later on. The sun was also out in force, so some got a painful sunburn. Three nice races were run for all fleets.
The leader board after the first day for the 4.7-s looks like: 1. Vadnai Benjamin, HUN; 2. Roeck Sarak, GER; and 3. Vostorgov Danill, RUS. For the radials: 1, Nikolaev Maxim, RUS; 2. Babych Pavel, UKR; 3. Hunfalvy Peter, HUN. And for the standards: 1. Van Laer Wannes, BEL; 2. Bakoczy Robert, HUN; and 3. Berecz Zsombor, HUN.
