Laser - Europacup 2016 - Hyères FRA - Day 1

Only a light and circling breeze prevailed yesterday on Hyères Bay for the first races of the Laser Europacup regatta. The Lasers Standard and Lasers Radial - the 276 participants split in four Groups - sailed at least one race, while the over 200 Lasers 4.7 remained without valid results.
William De Smet BEL was first in the Lasers Standard ahead of Eliot Merceron FRA and Antony Munos FRA. 74 starters. The four race winners in the Lasers Radial were Louise Cervera FRA, Liam Glynn IRL, Ewen McMahon IRL and Tuula Tenkanen FIN. On the second ranks were Romen Richard FRA, Laura Schewe GER, Efe Soysal TUR and Grégoire Péverelli SUI. 261 Radials participate.
