Laser - Europacup 2012 - Koper SLO - Day 1

Only light wind prevailed on the opening day of the Laser-Europacup season 2012 on the northern Adriatic Sea. Only one race could be sailed by the Lasers 4.7 and the Radials, while the Standards completed two heats. Alessandro Marega ITA was twice the winner in the Standards and is clearly leading ahead of the Moldavian Alexandr Disinuc MDA and Giovanni Coccoluto ITA. In the Radials, Dewi Couvert NED and Therese Herud NOR with a race win each in their groups are first. Sarah Roeck GER is on the 3rd position. Many premature start disqualifications influence the intermediate classifications.
