Yesterday, the Asia-Pacific Laser Championship had its first race day enjoying a 15 kn breeze and summery weather at the famous Thai holiday resort, that attracted a number of Laser sailors from other continents. Up to now, two races have been sailed with Keerati Bualong THA leading in the Laser Standard (PDF) class, followed by Nik Ashraf Qaedi MAS. 32 sailors from 9 nations participate. With the Lasers Radial (PDF) (39 participants, 10 nations), Muhamed Romzi MAS is on the first position with two race wins, ahead of Paenyaem Natthawut THA.
