The last two days of the event were quite difficult, not only because of the strong currents, but also due to the shifty wind conditions. It was also difficult to follow the event from away, as the web servers of the club could not keep up with the pressure and melted down frequently. All in all, however, it was a great regatta, a good test for the upcoming three world championships in La Rochelle.
Overall, 8 races could be run for the 4.7 fleet, so the two worst results could be discarded, and on the top of the podium took place Benjamin Vadnai HUN, flanked by Sebastien Scheiter SUI and Kilian Wagen SUI.The radials could only manage 7 races and the winner was Giovanni Coccoluto ITA, followed by Tatyana Drozdovskaya BLR and Tania Elias Calle MEX. Finally, the podium for the standards after 8 races as well looked like: Antony Munos FRA, Wannes van Laer BEL and Jean Baptiste Gellee FRA. Detailed results can be found on the SRR web-site.
See you in July in La Rochelle at the radial men, radial youth and standard junior World Championships!
