The January 1st 2011 Laser European Youth Rankings Ladder has now been made public. In 2010 over 70 national, international, European and World championship events were included in the calculations. Altogether over 350 4.7, 400 radial and 145 standard sailors are listed. The overall podium for the 4.7 boys is shared by Benjamin Vadnai (HUN, 2693.1 points), Lukas Cejnar (CZE, 2437.5 points), and Enej Kocjancic (SLO, 2200.8 points); and for the 4.7 girls by Anna Liebman (ITA, 1902.6 points), Flem Host Line (NOR, 1857 points) and Kim Pletikos (SLO, 1798.3 points). In the radial fleet the overall rankings are as follows: Milivoj Dukic (MNE, 3124.6), Giovanni Coccoluto (ITA, 2926.2) and Hermann Tomasgaard (NOR, 2588.4) for the boys and Sarah Gunni (DEN, 2231.4), Michelle Broekhuizen (NED, 2077.2) and Constanze Stoltz (GER 1894.2) for the ladies. In the standard fleet the top of the ladder looks like: Dmytro Yasnolov (UKR, 3027.15), Jules Ferrer (FRA, 2926.6) and Antony Munos (FRA, 2683.6).
The first three competitors in each of the ten rigs and age groups ranked will receive their well deserved Laser Cubes at the prize giving ceremony of the first Europa Cup regatta in Torbole, Italy from 25th to 28th March.
