Changes to the European Executive Committee
During the European Annual General Meeting, which was held in Linz, Austria on 28 & 29 November, some changes were made to the European Executive Committee.
Calle Lindfors from Finland was elected Chairman and Laszlo Matyas from Hungary was elected Vice Chairman. The European Districts and ILCA welcomed the new Chairman and Vice Chairman to the European Executive Committee and look forward to working with them. Both Calle and Laszlo will be circulating an introductory letter to the European Districts shortly.

The European meeting and the European Districts thanked past Chairman Jean-Luc Michon from France and past Vice Chairman Ahmet Ediboglu from Turkey for their dedicated service to the European region. Jean-Luc, who has volunteered a great deal of time to the European region, was first elected to the European Executive committee in 1993 as Vice Chairman later becoming Chairman in 2004. Ahmet has served as the Vice Chairman since 2004.
