The day started as expected with AP up, but then came some breeze and the fleets went afloat. Conditions were difficult with winds of just 5-6 knots, including shifts of 30-40 degrees and in addition there was also a non-negligible current. One race for all rigs was completed, but for the radials and the 4.7 course shortening was needed to finish racing before dark. Principal Race Officer Denis Marinov took advantage of his local knowledge and managed pretty well the difficult conditions. After three races the standard podium looks like VAN LAER WANNES (BEL), TEPLY VIKTOR (CZE) and BUEHLER SEBASTIAN (GER). The top competitors in the radial fleet are, as after the first day, DROZDOVSKAYA TATIANA (BLR), BARUZZI MARCO (ITA) and COCCOLUTO GIOVANNI (ITA). For the 4.7 the current leaders are VERTELETSKY ILYA (UKR), JURIC IVAN (CRO) and VADNAI BENJAMIN (HUN). All participants are looking forward to the last racing day tomorrow, and also, of course, the regatta and the overall series prize giving ceremony.
