Day Three Olympic Preview - Laser and Laser Radial

Things are heating up in Rio! Day 3 of Olympic sailing is starting soon.

Men's Laser
After the discard race, Julio Alsogaray of Argentina sits on top of the leader board after 4 races. Overnight leader Tonci Stipanovic of Croatia holds on for second followed by Sam Meech from New Zealand.

Top 3 after four races:
1. Julio Alsogaray (ARG) - 7 Pts
2. Tonči Stipanović (CRO) - 13 Pts
3. Sam Meech (NZL) - 14 Pts

Women's Radial
Defending Olympic gold medalist, Lijia Xu, from China leads the tightly contested Radial Women's fleet. Annalise Murphy from Ireland moves to second after another solid day on the water, setting up what might be a repeat of the exciting finale we saw in London 2012!

Finland's Tuula Tenkanen sits in third after receiving redress for a collision prior to the start of race 3. While luffing before the start, Tenkanen's boat was hit from behind by the Brazilian sailor's boat, breaking her rudder fitting. Because the Laser is supplied equipment at the Olympics and because Tenkanen was unable to start the race, she was awarded redress equal to her average finish.

Top 3 after four races:
1. Xu Lijia (CHN) - 7
2. Annalise Murphy (IRL) - 12
3. Tuula Tenkanen (FIN) - 13.3
